Carival Cruise Line


We found that users were struggling to find their itinerary on the old website, so we pushed to make this a primary page in the navigation. Before the redesign, it was embedded in a tab on a secondary screen and very difficult to find. 
Further, Carnival has an onboard mobile app that’s independent of cellular service. It lets individuals and groups, alike, to plan their days out. Whether free activities on the ship, or partnered vendors, users can add desired activities to their mobile planner, or at least “favorite” them. We spent several hours with the app team to understand their findings, and conducted interviews at the Miami Cruise Port to confirm the right approach.
